In 2020 I worked on a Board Game called Jousting Jesters for Geeks Collaborative Gaming. This is a collection of some pieces.
Watuiwel are swamp creatures. They use their poisonous bright strings on their heads to loot their prey. Every year thousands of them get captured and equipped with an adapted seamine. Watuiwel are then trained to blow themself up to destroy their enemy.
The goal was to create a kappa-like creature in a cartoony style. The page demonstrates the whole process from sketch to final illustration.

Height: 2m Weight: 80Kg Diet: Scavenger. Plague Dogs are said to be the plague itself. These nocturnal group-living creatures lurk in the dark while waiting for their (yet) living prey. Their limbs are long and their speed is similar to a hunting wolf. As soon as they touch you the process of a slow and painful death begins. Your body will start to decay from the inside and so-called Plague Bubbles will appear on your whole skin. If you see these moldering creatures in the wild you have no choice but to pray.
